We offer straight razors, safety razors, hundreds of wet shaving supplies, and restoration services.  We are constantly expanding our offerings, and are enjoying good success – we should be around for years to come!


Maggard Razors, LLC was established in October, 2012.  We are a husband and wife team – Brad and Casie Maggard – who have worked hard to realize our dreams of becoming small business owners.


Brad Maggard
After 15 years in the IT field, Brad was finally able to leave his day job in September 2016.  A hobby turned business success story, Brad has been restoring straight razors since February of 2009, and has honed around 4,300 razors (as of January 2017).  Besides performing services, he manages brand acquisition and  high level business operations. He also fills any position in the store when needed.

Casie Maggard
Casie was able to quit her day job in August of 2013 and is now managing store operations full time. Casie is our CFO and handles all aspects of accounting and payroll.  She also keeps our automated inventory systems running, and works on product pages, graphics, inventory.   Maggard wouldn’t run without her!
Collin Butchart
Collin was added to our team in March of 2014 as head shipper and quality control inspector. Currently, he is our eCommerce Shipping Coordinator and Fulfillment Manager. He handles most of the day to day shipping operations and ensures everything runs smoothly. He was a great addition to the team and is part of the reason our shipping is so fast. Collin is not family but we have adopted him as an honorary Maggard. 
Penny Broome
Penny was added to the Maggard team in Sept 2014. She is one of our e-commerce shipping specialists, our telephone customer service representative, and in charge of pre shave oils.
Matthew Twiss
Matt was added to the Maggard team in January 2015. He is one of our e-commerce shipping specialists and Stock Manager.
Dave Costa
Dave joined our team in Sept 2015. Dave takes care of new products, ebay, and product photography.
Jerick Timm
Jerick joined our team in May of 2016. Jerick is our Customer Service Representative. Jerick has been a wetshaver for 5 years now.
Sue Klann
Sue joined our order fulfillment team in June 2017. She ships like a mad woman!

Ryan Schoonover
Ryan joined our order fulfillment team in June 2017.  He also works with Brad on marketing materials and video editing.

Shipping Information

Maggard Razors offers free shipping on orders over $45.00 within the USA. In the event that you choose free shipping, Maggard Razors will determine the method of shipping based on the least expensive rate. Maggard Razors will make every effort to ship out orders on the same day placed before 12pm EST Monday-Friday. On Saturday, if we choose to ship USPS (lighter weight orders), it willship if placed before 12pm EST – otherwise it will ship the following Monday.  Orders will be shipped in the order in which they are received. If it is an unusually busy day your order may be delayed no more than 1 business day.  The only guaranteed delivery time service that Maggard Razors offers is FedEx, so if you need an order arrival guaranteed, do not select the Free Shipping method.   USPS only issues estimated delivery times, and they are not guaranteed.

Overnight Orders  NOTE – FedEx does not pick up OR deliver orders on Saturdays.   FedEx Overnight orders on placed on Friday before 3PM will be delivered Monday.  FedEx Overnight orders placed after 3PM on Friday will be delivered Tuesday).  USPS Express Overnight orders do get picked up on Saturdays, and should arrive on Monday – but USPS does not guarantee their services.

Domestic Orders  Should arrive within the following estimated time ranges:

  • USPS First Class:  1-5 days.
  • FedEx Smart Post: 2-6 days.
  • USPS Priority:  2-3 days.
  • FedEx Overnight: 1 day. (no Saturday delivery or pickup)
  • FedEx 2-day:  2 days (no Saturday delivery or pickup)
  • FedEx Express Saver: 2-3 days.
  • FedEx Ground: 2-6 days.

Sometimes packages are not scanned and can seem to stay in a certain area for a while. Please do not be alarmed. The bar code may have been damaged. Be patient – your package will arrive. If your package ships with one of the above shipping method, and does not arrive after *21 calendar days and 5 days of tracking inactivity, we will take action to correct the error at our expense if necessary.  Maggard Razors makes no guarantee on USPS or FedEx Smartpost delivery times.

Shipping Address  All orders will be shipped to the “ship to” address entered at checkout. If the “ship to” address is not verifiable by our shipping software we will contact you via email to verify its accuracy. This may delay shipping.  The buyer will be responsible for additional shipping fees if the address provided is undeliverable. If a package can not be delivered and the buyer wants a refund, you will be refunded the purchase price minus the actual shipping costs. In these cases we will have to have received the package back to re-ship, or refund.

*In the event that a package is lost, stolen, or damaged. You agree to fully cooperate and fill out all insurance claim paperwork. Orders will not be reshipped without full cooperation. As soon as we receive the paperwork back we will reship your order. This can be done electronically and will only take a few minutes out of your day. 

International Orders Under We offer Economy International Shipping Services, USPS International First Class shipping services, and USPS Priority International shipping services.   Upon placing an International order, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1) Economy International Shipping service does not have tracking, and usually arrives in 10-20 calendar days.  However, if a package is held in customs it could take an additional 40 calendar days.  We are not responsible for any packages held by customs or any items confiscated by customs. Maggard Razors is also not responsible for any duty, taxes, or additional fees charged by the recipients mailing service or government.  Any claims for lost Economy International packages can not be made until 60 days after the shipping date.  For Italy, Spain, and Russia – 75 days after the shipping date. 

2)  United States First Class International mail usually arrives in 7-15 calendar days. However if a package is held in customs it could take an additional 30 calendar days.  We are not responsible for any packages held by customs or any items confiscated by customs. Maggard Razors is also not responsible for any duty, taxes, or additional fees charged by the recipients mailing service or government.  Any claims for lost First Class International packages can not be made until 45 days after the shipping date.  For Italy, Spain, and Russia – 60 days after the shipping date. 

3) United States Priority International mail usually arrives in 7-10 calendar days. However if a package is held in customs it could take an additional 30 calendar days.  We are not responsible for any packages held by customs or any items confiscated by customs. Maggard Razors is also not responsible for any duty, taxes, or additional fees charged by the recipients mailing service or government.  Any claims for lost Priority International packages can not be made until 40 days after the shipping date.

4) If your shipping address changes during the lost package claim window you will not be eligible for a reshipment of your order.

In the event that a package is lost, stolen, or damaged. You agree to fully cooperate and fill out all insurance claim paperwork. Orders will not be reshipped without full cooperation. As soon as we receive the paperwork back we will reship your order. This can be done electronically and will only take a few minutes out of your day. 

5) We are not responsible for any packages lost, damaged, or stolen when using a forwarding service.

6) There is NO GUARANTEE on delivery times.

7)  United states postal service prohibits all alcohol based products via air mail. If an international order containing an alcohol based product is placed the item will be removed from the order and the purchase price of the item and any shipping costs associated with the item will be refunded.

8) International addresses are not able to be verified by our shipping software.  The buyer will be responsible for additional shipping fees if the address provided is undeliverable. If a package can not be delivered and the buyer wants a refund, you will be refunded the purchase price minus the actual shipping costs. In these cases we will have to have received the package back to re-ship, or refund.

Maggard Razors requires all international orders over $150.00 to provide additional information to prevent fraud.

Upon placing an order over $150.00 you will receive an email requesting a photo copy of your ID and a photo copy of your credit card with the name and last 4 numbers visible. 

We also require your billing and shipping address to be the same. If they do not match we will ship to the billing address. If this is a problem we will cancel the order. 

We may also require you to call us to give us more information. 

We will hold the order for a week. If we do not hear from you in that time we will refund and cancel the order.

APO/FPO Yes! We ship to APO/FPO addresses! Sometimes packages are not scanned and can seem to stay in a certain area for a while. Please do not be alarmed. The bar code may have been damaged or you may have gotten a lazy postal carrier. Be patient your package will arrive. Under 16 ounces will ship via First Class with tracking. Over 16 ounces, we ship Priority Mail with tracking. There is No Guarantee on delivery times.

Return Policy

Damage:  If your item is damaged or defective in some way, we will make sure you are taken care of.   Please contact us with pictures and a description of the damages within 10 days of arrival and we will arrange for appropriate compensation or a replacement at no cost to you.

Defects:  If your item has a defect please contact us with pictures and a description of the defect within 10 days of arrival and we will arrange for appropriate compensation or replacement. If a problem arises after 10 days, please contact the manufacture directly.

Return Policy

Razors – Unused replaceable blade razors may be returned within 10 days for a full refund* or store credit

Straight razors, vintage razors, used, or restored razors may be returned within 10 days for a refund* or store credit less a 20% restocking fee

All other Products – Unused items may be returned within 10 days for a full refund* or store credit.

For orders that qualified for free shipping, if a return causes the resulting total order size to be under the free shipping threshold (currently $45.00), the actual cost of shipping we paid will be reduced from your refund.  For EDGE Members, if a return causes your order total size to be under $45.00, we will reduce half the cost of shipping from your refund.

Used products may not be returned.

Clearance – All sales are final on clearance merchandise.
Samples- All sales are final on samples.


Buyers are responsible for all return shipping charges.
Buyers are responsible for all exchange shipping charges.

Please ship all returns in a box. We are not responsible for damaged items that are returned to us. If an item arrives damaged we will take the appropriate % off of the return. If the item is completely damaged we will not issue a refund. Please take care in packaging returns. Thank you.

    We do not have 8 of those brushes. We have 1 white, 1 black and 2 red. You have to add them to cart individually but the red you can add two at once.

    These are actually referred to as “torx” screws. I believe I got them from Texas knife supply…. And honestly I can’t remember what size they were. I believe the threaded barrels are 1/8″. Most razors do not have a pivot hole large enough for these screws. Hopefully you can find them!

I was curious, since you don’t seem to sell single samples of your pre-shaves, if there’s anyway you could let me sample your “Cherry/Vanilla Sandalwood” oil with my purchase….? Also, I just ordered my items and it is quite late on a tuesday night, and since you are closed Wednesday, should I be expecting the call Thursday morning?

    Shawn the lady who makes our shaving bowls hurt her hand and is waiting to see if surgery is in her future. You can always pick up a lather bowl at any local store. A salsa bowl or soup mug works great!

    All of our razors shave very similarly — so, if you’re looking for a more aggressive razor than ours, you might have to look elsewhere! Check out the Merkur Futur — even dialed down to “1”, the shave is more aggressive than any of our razors!

    I just got the budget starter kit and it is great!!! The razor is really well made and handsome with a nice weight to it too. I decided to try DE razor saving with your razor and glad I did.     Can you tell me if the Omega 31064 Banded Boar Shaving Brush will fit in any of the razor/brush stands that you offer? If so, does it hold it from the top of the handle or the knot?

    I have two old straight razors that belonged to my dad or grandfather. There were barbers in the family. I read about the barber’s notch, but I think mine may have more than a notch, a broken tip on both. Can I send a photo to see whether I should give them to my nephew “as is” as a curiosity, or restore, if possible?

    Just wanted to comment again on what great customer service I received. I placed an order late Wednesday night, had a confirmation email at 8:08 Thursday morning, and it was on my doorstep the next day! Email communications were answered within minutes! Knowing that I can get my package next day could prove to be dangerous for my bank account. I have a feeling I will probably be putting your kid through college, tell me which one you prefer him to attend, and I will send my money directly to them. lol

    The wife and I are planning on making a trip to the store this Wednesday, I can’t wait!

    I just wanted to thank you guys for awesome customer service and a quick turn around on an order placed last Saturday morning. I placed the order a little before 8:00 a.m. and by 8:16 I received a confirmation e-mail saying that my item would be shipped out that day. I also think that it is great that you guys offer samples of products. I have not found another company that offers them. There are so many options for shaving creams out there that I have often been stuck with a tub of shaving cream that I don’t really like the smell for. Thank you guys for your fast service, great selection of items and great prices. You have definitely earned a new customer. Now I just need to find an excuse to come there from NC to check out the shop.

    I wanted to take a moment to say how wonderful the customer service has been from you all. I also work in the public sector and know how important a good relationship with clients can be. Moments after I placed my order I received a personal e-mail stating the items would be shipped out that day and low and behold they actually were! It was great! While the mail service was delayed one day due to the winter weather I do no hold this store responsible for said delay. Truly, I’m pleased to have been able to support a US and MI business and to have had such a good experience with them. Many sites offer sampler packs, but I chose Maggard Razors because rather than having a predetermined sampler pack, you allow the customer to create their own. After the order, I was kept informed on the status of my order by email. I knew my order had been submitted, processed, and shipped with tracking number. The order arrived very quickly. You’ve got your priorities in the right place and you execute the sale flawlessly. I look forward to placing more orders.

    Hello Brad and Casie. Prior to reading your “About Us” I had already made my purchase. Although I submitted my order on family night(Sunday), I received a confirmation email from Casie informing me that my package would be shipped that fallowing Tuesday. To my surprise I received my tracking number the next day on Monday and waited in anticipation. I received my order 3 days later on Thursday. Thank you for the suburb customer service.     WOW!! What fantastic people to work with. Let me say that I found Maggard Razors by accident. Was looking for shaving cream samples to test in order to find several that I like, without buying the whole tube first. This company gives the consumer alot of options and choices in selecting blade and shaving cream samples. They are also very competitive on their prices. I have checked out 10 different shaving supply sites, and have found only 1 other site that has the shaving cream samples you can select. Casie responds quickly about inquiries and order information. The items I ordered were packaged and sealed well, and sent quickly. It arrived in a few days. If you are looking for a company that has a great selection of products, great prices, gives you options for sample packs and has superb customer service practices……. This is the place to shop. By the way, I ordered 3,in stock, shaving cream samples from another supplier on the same day, it hasn’t been sent or filled according to their website. It’s been 3 days and no correspondence about the order.
