A Turkish Classic!

Don't let the price fool you - Arko's Shave Soap Stick is a total steal! This classic Turkish shave soap creates a slick, thick, and creamy lather that is easily comparable more expensive soaps. Perfect for home or travel use - simply rub the stick on your wet face and lather it up with a brush, or take the long route and chop a piece off into a shave mug. Arko has a creamy, slightly citrus fragrance, reminiscent of old-timey bar soaps.

2 year Arko update and useful review

I wanted to update my last review from 2 years ago and give some more useful feedback. Scent Strength: 9/10 Scent Profile: lemon & laundry musk (heavier laundry musk note) Slickness: 8/10 Post Shave: 7/10 Post-Shave Note: this has a very nice post-shave for such an inexpensive soap as it includes tallow, coconut oil, and palm kernel oil. It only takes me a few minutes to build a voluminous lather and then paint in additional water for slickness, and to my literal shock, this soap has a pretty darn good post-shave! I think that's why a lot of people from around the world rave about it because compared to other mass-produced soaps this absolutely blows them out of the water. Recommendation: If you buy it and don't like the scent try to power through 5 or 6 shaves with it and you may very well get used to it and begin to like it, that's what I did and now I quite like the scent and so does my wife!
