Dont let the size full you, you may be reaching for this brush plenty of times in your home den! It has the backbone to handle the hard soaps and whips up a great lather. I’m loving this brush!

Perfect travel brush. Doesn’t take up a lot of space in the travel bag and does a fine job lathering. Only knock is it’s a bit scratchy at first, but it softens with use.

The mixed midget is my go to travel brush. Fits perfecin the Simpsons small travel case. The brush has enough backbone to whip up a good lather on my travel soaps that are pretty hard.

This is a terrific little brush which I bought for travel. It is a bit more scratchy than I am accustomed to, but it easily whips up enough lather for two passes. I am giving this five stars because because it does a great job for its size and price. Unlike other other reviewers I do not think it is comparable to larger, more expensive brushes. Comparing this to a Simpson is not fair to either product. It is what it is — a small, inexpensive travel brush that does a very nice job.

OK, this brush is really tiny. I bought it at tha Maggard store, and was somewhat surprised at how small it really was when I first saw it. However, good things can come in small packages! It lathers well and holds a surprising amount of lather. You may need to go back to the puck for a third pass, but is that really such a sacrifice? The bristles are fairly soft, and yet have pretty good backbone. The inclusion of the boar bristles also allows it to dry faster than badger alone would. I bought this brush to allow me better access to small soap pucks (Hasslinger, Col. Conk, Klar, various samples). It works very well for this purpose. For $16.50, you can afford to roll the dice.

I’ve been using this brush for about 3 months now and only lost the expected few hairs. For being a mixed brush this withstands some hard soaps and still feels great on the face. Never had a problem lathering up either. Surely worth getting.

Very fine brush. Great coverage and works well with both hard soaps and creams once broken in

This is certainly small, but performs big. If you need a travel size brush, do not hesitate. Minor smell at first, naturally. It is a delight to use, and a great bargain. Attractive, too. Would love it if I could have the same brush in a larger size. Lathers well, feels good. And as always, good Maggard experience.

Great little brush. I really like the combination of badger and boar bristles. The size is small but that is just fine. It actually makes it a little easier to use and I do not have small hands by any means. You will not be disappointed.

I knew this brush was a winner when I picked it up. Good solid handle, not the cheap hollow plastic handles you sometimes get with other brushes.

Size is small, no doubt, this is the mighty midget after all. Great brush for the price. Perfect for travel, but the performance is so good I could use this as a daily driver.

The combo badger and boar fibers work up a lather quickly right out of the box, much faster than a new boar would. Those badger fibers do a good job of whipping up a lather and the boar provides good backbone. A little prickly, but I’m sure that will subside with some spiting of the tips.

Don’t let the size fool you. This brush is amazing. If I was basing this brush on performance and quality I would say this brush should be $50 not $16. It has backbone and it holds water. It works equally as well on hard soaps, croaps and creams. This little baby will load up and hold 3 passes easy. It’s been my go to lately. Don’t even think about it just pick one up.

This brush is a tiny wonder!

The combination of badger and boar bristles means that this brush has great backbone and good heat retention. It is scrubby enough to work with the hardest of hard soaps, yet soft and springy enough to feel amazing when using this brush for face lathering. It’s small size make this brush great for travel.

The only negative thing I can say about this brush it that its tiny handle can make it less comfortable to use when bowl-lathering. If you are a bowl latherer you may want to look for a slightly larger brush with a larger and more comfortable handle.

I was very happy when this brush showed up in my mail-box, I was in need of a new brush when my cheep Marvy broke. I could hardly believe how easy and how much lather this brush created! I love badger brushes and I love boar brushes and this is about the perfect medium, kinda like a hybrid brush. You get the softness of the badger but the corseness of a boar for the exfoliation. And like I said it creates lather like no other. Now its time to order one for at my girlfriends house since I shave over there once and a while.

This is a really great brush. Very small and would be great for traveling. I’ve tried it with a few different soaps now and it builds a nice lather very easily. I am fairly new to wetshaving. This is my first Omega brush and probably my first pure brush, so I was very taken back by the FONK that blew up my bathroom once I soaked this bad boy for the first time. The funk has dissipated immensely now. Either way. Great brush.

Purchased item during Christmas holiday and promptly received item as stated in delivery guidelines (living in the UK). Have tried the brush with numerous different soaps creams and sticks. cella, Mitchell’s wool fat, GEO violet, proraso, arko, latoja, and wether you are face or bowl lathering you will not be disappointed.. Cut a long story short this probably is the best all round brush in my collection and an absolute bargain. This would be an ideal top performing brush for a starter or time served traditional shaver.

You will probably be surprised by how small this thing is when you first get it. But do not be discouraged, this is a great brush. The mix of badger and boar is fantastic, allowing for water retention of badger and scrubbiness of boar. Even though this is a scrubby brush, it doesn’t feel prickly my my EJ pure badger brush. This brush is one of my favorites, I like it as much as my simpson and kent brush, which cost about eight times what this does. This brush is THE reason I started trying out small brushes, you won’t be disappointed
