    :

    Great cream.
Of all the ToBS creams this is my favorite. Not so much because of the scent but because of the richness the avocado oil brings to the lather. Scent wise it is a pretty mild, to me it smells like plastic wrap (in a good way if that makes sense). When lathering its a like a very light melon-like smell to me.

While most TOBS creams are great, I could not stand the smell of this. It smells like bad vegetables. I’m sure the performance would be great but like I said I could not bring myself to use this cream because of the smell. Compared to other TOBS creams, this one is a goopy consistency because of the ingredients – just a FYI.

this really seems to be a ‘love it’ or ‘hate it’ product – but i love it. the quality of the cream and shaving is best of best as most english creams are. the scent of this is what is unique. smells more like fresh cut grass or outdoors after rain than avocado smell per se. ymmv – but i give it top marks

Great cream, smells like fresh cucumber. It lathers amazingly well and provides a rich, slick lather with minimal efforts. Easily matches many of the more expensive creams.

I shaved with this this morning. To me, it has the best post shave feel of all of the TOBS creams. The scent reminds me of fresh cut grass and cucumber. Others has said maybe watermelon rind. It is a nice, pleasant and mild scent. A great cream for beginners and shave veterans.

You need to try it, it is unconditionally the best lather I have ever experienced. Nothing like it, even within the TOB series only a few come close to how well this lathers up. I like the smell, but even if you don’t understand that this is something worth investigating. I lather with a heated bowl, and this also really transfers the heat to your face. There’s something special about that experience.

stinks, like plastic or mouse urine. In hot weather is can cause a migraine for me. Otherwise the scent is “just there, in the way”. And is one of the few English creams that I have found where the scent actually lasts after the shave.

Better when bowl lathered, but face lathering still gives a good slippery shave.

The easiest later in the TOBS series, also one of the slickest. Right up there with cedarwood, and better than most others in the lineup. I use a heated bowl, and a thick warm lather just jumps up with my boar brush and makes that initial transfer to my face quite an experience. While the scent is good, it’s not one my wife cares for, a bit too subtle for her to really notice. She says it’s like cucumber, not bad, but not really good either. I don’t mind it at all.
