Product Description

Inspired by Nasomatto Black Afgano

Khalifa has one of the most unique, complex and exotic scents I ever smelled. Khalifa is a mix of mysterious ‘resins’, t*bacco, vanilla, oud, coffee and incense. It’s a dark, mysterious, smoky, woody mix that is reminiscent of a fine niche fragrance. This luxury shaving soap is now made in our tallow based, goats milk and lanolin soap. You’ll find this soap to be among superb with it’s slickness, as well as post shave feel.

Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Beef Tallow, Goats Milk, Shea Butter, Potassium Hydroxide, Kokum Butter, Mango Butter, Cocoa Butter, Glycerin, Castor Oil, Manteca (Pig Fat), Straggisto Giaouti, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Camellia Oil from Japan, Sodium Hydroxide, Lanolin, Agave, Bentonite Clay,  Beeswax, Sodium Lactate, Argan Oil, Fragrance & EO’s.

This gave me one of the better lathers i’ve gotten in a shaving soap – which is quite a high bar to hit. Using a badger brush, it produces a very thick, lush, voluminous lather that remains very slick and has plenty of padding. Even when using too much water, it’s very forgiving, and produces a great lather regardless.
Aside from the material quality, the scent really is amazing. It has a way of filling up the room and lingering all while not being too strong. In this sense, it really does remind me of high quality incense – the smell itself reminds me of my time spent in hawaii – it paints memories of the Waikiki strip and luaus at twilight. Drinking sweet cocktails by the beach, the smell of the clear ocean waves, torches, barbecues, exotic incenses, and fine accroutments purchased along the strip all come flooding back.

I noticed another buyer rated it one star based on having a horrible scent, and i think that’s fair – everybody really does have different tastes and preferences and i can totally see this being unbearable to some. If you are looking for a tobacco-heavy or a wood-heavy scent, this is not for you. This will not have dominant notes of leather or oud or tobacco, but rather a complex sweet base with a slight parfum that mingles with those notes. If you’re looking for something a bit on the powdery, more bright side of scents, then i definitely feel this is a great wood and tobacco for you.

I love St. Barts but this scent is so unbelievably horrible, I had to throw it away. Everyone perceives acentbdifferently and I really tried but this is so bad – rancid purple perfume.

Everybody at work, family and friends love this scent. Just amazing how this one smells. Hard to say of what exacly.
A scent like that made me wish for a AS Splash and a EPT with the same smell.

    :

excellent slippery foam, but the main thing is the awesome aroma of a very sophisticated male perfume
