Initial impression based on a sample purchased from Maggards. First time using GFT brand. Performed slightly better than TOBS, which performs well for me. The violet scent is very subtle, but it’s there. It is definetly floral scented and enjoyable. For those on the fence about the scent, I would say it’s less “floral” than most rose scented soaps out there. I plan to purchase a full tub in the future.

I test all of my soaps with fresh distilled water from the pharmacy to allow the soap to perform without any hard water obstacles.
-The violet scent is VERY nice… a bit girly for a man like me, but honestly it was very refreshing. The scent was great. The soap looks AWESOME! the color alone was enough to get me to try it out. It is pretty soft stuff.
extremely easy to load from, you can load this soap from a dry brush just by brushing the top of the soap a bit, not a problem.
Lathering was just as easy. Very reminiscent of your typical good quality glycerin soaps:big lather, medium tight bubble formation, big cushion.
This soap has more cushion than glide… I personally like tallowated soaps. This stuff stays purple throughout the lather, if you hold a big lather ball up to the light, purple shines through. Very cool!
Only 3 stars because… I could not get soap to stay lathered. By the time I got to the second half of my face, my lather began to dissipate… not sure why this is. I know its not my water! not a bad soap overall.
