Using The Los Angeles Shaving Soap Company's artisanal saponified vegan shaving soap formula, this soap is gently scented with Lavender, with Ho Wood, Amyris, and West Indian Bay adding a woody undertone.


Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Palm Kernel Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Water, Aloe Vera Juice, Essential Oils (Vegetable Stearic Acid, Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Vegetable Glycerin, Essential Oils (Lavender, Ho Wood, Amyris, Pimenta Racimosa (West Indian Bay), French Red Clay, Sodium Lactate, Allantoin (comfrey plant).

This is my favorite soap in the LASSC line. The warm, spicy mix of bay leaf and woods reminds me of Christmastime. I wouldn't call it a lavender, per se. There is lavender in it, but it does not stand out. Performance-wise, LASSC is one of the top soaps in my den. This stuff is SLICK, and it explodes with rich lather, in seconds.

YMMV. It is fairly slick and lathers easily enough. In my opinion it is a bit thin. The scent is authentic enough. In fact, subtle whiffs of decaying vegetation come to mind.
