Darkfall is a spicy oriental designed to capture the spirit of fall in the rural south. Agarwood, amber, and benzoin provide a deep, warm base for the cinnamon and clove top notes. Birch tar adds a slight smokiness that represents the ever-present smell of burning leaves that heralds the arrival of fall in Georgia.

I didn’t appreciate Darkfall until I got the aftershave this year. The scent on the soap came off as a bit too smokey for me to truly love. I liked it, but it wasn’t something I imagined wanting to smell like all day. I am blown away by this complex scent. This is as fine a scent as can be found in wet shaving. The depth and darkness reminds me of Barrister and Mann. I know this is a review for the aftershave but L&L soaps are the only ones I find have a superior formula to Barrister and Mann. This aftershave and soap is the best you can buy.
