Very soft brush. This is my first synthetic brush and it is very nice. It looks amazing and the 22mm Knot size is perfect for my face. It performed very well in the few shaves that I have used it. It is much softer than my pure badger brush. My only negative is the lack of backbone compared to my badger brush. It spreads across my face easily. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this brush to others. However if the lack of backbone is an issue for you, then you may be better with another type. Overall and excellent product.

the knot is so soft and dense its unbelievable.. the amount of lather this thing holds can shave a hairy giant from head to toe.. this is so wasteful ;p

Nice little brush it has a sturdy handle and the knot has a great balance of backbone and soft tips. I highly recommend this to any and all synthetic brush users.

Excellent brush. It’s a steal with the price it has!

This is my first brush, and I’m loving it so far! Very soft, yet it’s very controllable and not floppy. It’s easy to grip and makes and holds lather very well.

It’s a fantastic brush, and the price is just a sweet bonus!

awesome brush. personally i don’t want to spend over $20 on a brush. i also like the size of this one at 22mm. i see no need for a huge brush as i don’t want shaving soap all in my ears and up my nose and so forth. this brush is super soft yet has the right amount of backbone. also no smell to deal with like badger, boar, or horse hair brushes and no need to soak it before you start your shave. just wet it and go. my favorite brush so far. 🙂

Totally agree with Lonnie and Mac, this is a great brush especially for the price.
The handle has a nice heft to it which I like and has some backbone which is great for loading soaps and for face lathering, However I whipped up some serious amount of good quality lather in a bowl with this real fast.
    Lovely brush, highly recommended.

OMG. I have tried 5 synthetics. And quite a few boars and badgers, too. Folks, we have a winner here.

Honestly, I wish it were 21mm. It is just a tad big for my preferences. And the handle is nice, but it is a $12 brush. OTOH, it works really well. Easily whips up lather. Start out with damp tips, add a little water as you go. It is not springy. Yay! Splays a bit. Paints well. Bargain price. Unlike the previous synthetics, this one is a keeper. Works as well as brushes costing much more!

I started out using boar brushes and then trying synthetic brushes. I have a couple of Maggard synthetic brushes now and they out perform any others I’ve had. Soft yet have good backbone for loading the brush and face lathering. This Maggard brush is the only one I use now. Can’t beat the price. Anyone wanting to try a synthetic brush should try one of the Maggards. Can’t go wrong with their products and service.
