Some folks asked for these so here they are…
Maggard has sourced these small nylon washers. They are the M5 size and are installed on the post prior to attaching the handle.
This offers a level of protection between the handle and the base plate.

Make from wax paper and thinner. Paper would be more environmentally friendly.

I’ve been looking for some of these and these work well. As stated they give protection to the baseplate and handle which is nice to keep your razors from scratches. Especially if you may be selling razors that you tried but didn’t work for you. Also this keeps the razor looking nice for the buyer.
