The handle is beautiful to the eye is very comfortable to the touch. Mounted and tested immediately under the Merkur 23c head, which for my hands had the handle too long. It’s really perfect, I’m really satisfied with the product. Also added that the shipment was very fast and I bought from Italy. The staff is very well prepared, available for anything and above all very very friendly, and I thank you so much.

Just the right size for fans of short-ish handles. It’s a hair slimmer than similar handles, but the knurling keeps it nice and grippy. Looks nice, it’s functional, and the price is right.

Not a bad handle, definitely good build on it. Understand though that it is small, like very small. I would say its on par with some of the older ball end Gillette handles. Not bad, but I was hoping for something closer to the size of more modern razors. A great option if you are looking for compact and not too long.

This is a really nice, very functional stainless handle. The faux dial at the bottom of the handle reminds me of a Merkur 34C. At this same length, I prefer the MR 11 to this one, but would find it no problem to use this handle as a primary shaving tool. If you’re looking for a handle to go along with a more vintage razor head, this would likely be a great choice, because its unassuming looks would not clash with those vintage designs.

I ordered this handle to give my experience some selection. I currently have a MR5 paired with the V3 head and at times I feel it has a little too much heft. Though the MR1 is slightly shorter and thinner, it still carries some heft to it. I find my XTG pass is a little smoother with this handle and V3 combo. I really like it. Fit and finish is top notch as well as any other Maggards products as usual. Can’t go wrong with this one at all…

Ivan took the words right out of my mouth. Well balanced handle and perfect for traveling. The small size is actually what makes this handle great in my opinion. Knurling patterns are superb and the neck is elegant. Looks great with a V3A head on it (very manly). It’s pretty much the younger shorter brother of the MR18 so if you like/own a MR18, you’ll love this handle. A must have!

I got this handle to replace the long handle of my Merker 180 classic. I love the head but the handle was too long so I decided to try a shorter one.
I tried it out as soon as it arrived and I am very pleased with my purchase, I love the weight, look, and knurling of this handle. It looks, feels, and handles like a real razor now.
The service of the staff at Maggard Razors is second to none, their prices are great, and I found my spot for all my shaving needs! Keep up the great work!

I bought this handle to replace the too-slippery, too-short handle on my Merkur 41C, and I couldn’t be happier. The nice well defined knurling makes for a good grip, and the solid stainless steel gives it good heft. It’s slightly longer than the Merkur handle and the threads are a perfect match. And for me the diameter is perfect – not too fat, not too skinny…. just right. It’s a great handle, and at a great price too.
