Product Description

Revolutionary in its vision, this water-resistant yet easy to use pomade is what put us on the map. Built to be re-stylable no matter what you throw at it, it’s perfect for heat, humidity, or working out. Think of this as the multi-tool of pomades. Use one scoop for a loose look, two scoops for a more refined look, and three scoops to slick it all back.

Hold: Firm
Finish: Medium/High
Scent: Cedar Citrus
Size: 4 oz / 114g

– Rice Bran Wax:A strong and malleable wax that provides all-day hold, is an antioxidant, and conditions the skin and hair.
– Grapeseed Oil:A lightweight oil that locks in moisture to prevent frizzy brittle hair without weighing it down or decreasing hold.
– Jojoba Oil: Rich and nourishing yet easily absorbed, Jojoba oil is more similar to the skins natural oil than nearly any other oil.

Directions: Scoop out product and lightly spread onto hands. Apply to dry hair for increased volume and grip, or to wet hair for more loose and natural styles. Blow-dry for increased volume.

Tips & Tricks: Apply Multi-Purpose Pomade to completely dry hair for best consistency in hold and shine. Multi-Purpose Pomade can also be applied to damp hair to lock in moisture and maintain longer lasting shine. Use less for loose/natural styles, or more for maximum hold and shine for slick/sculpted styles. Previously named Water Based Pomade.

What is the difference between the Traditional Pomades and the Multi-Purpose Pomade?
What makes O’Douds Traditional Pomade unique from the rest of the O’douds line is its completely oil based formula. O’Douds Traditional Pomade is our only pomade product that contains no water. This makes the O’Douds Traditional Pomade stay in the hair for long periods of time. This product requires a much more in-depth cleansing routine to remove from the hair as compared to our other pomade products. It is best used to achieve slick and shiny classic styles that can be re-styled day after day.

What’s the difference between the Standard Pomade and Multi-Purpose Pomade?
A: Although both products can be used to achieve similar styling results, there is a key defining difference. Each product caters to a different lifestyle / styling routine. O’Douds Standard Pomade is water-soluble. This means that O’Douds Standard Pomade is easily rinsed out and cleansed from the hair using just water. O’Douds Multi-Purpose Pomade is water-resistant. This makes O’Douds Multi-Purpose pomade very durable and long-lasting in hot / humid climates.

Wow, I am impressed by the 5 star reviews here. I’ll try it a third time.
This product is tough to use. If you are in a rush to apply and gooo this might not be for you. It’s pretty hard for a pomade, to be honest. The scent is almost nonexistent, and that’s okay. A 2-1 shampoo will take two passes to wash this out.

This is one that I do not need in my rotation and will give away.

    Gents:
I been a pomade guy since 5 years now. I try all of them. Been honest i like the water based pomades better than the oil based ones. I have to say that from all this is the best. The scent is more cedar than sweet, but is not a strong scent that you may feel uncomfortable. Even though is a water based due to the fact they use bee’s wax on it you will have to wash your hair 2 times to get it out completely. In terms of the performance tgis is the best on that aspects. Since.it will not dry at all during the day you can restyled at any moment during the day. The hold is not strong but strong enough to hold your style during the day even though you work on the outdoors. Presentation concept, awesome one of the few that sales the jar full. Some other brands doesn’t. What I will like in the future is to see if they can make a bigger jar for guys like me. Shine, not too shine I considered more matte than anything else. Maggards A+ in service and quality in terms of his personality with his customer’s. I considered him as my friend. Feel free to buy from him.

    Thanks
    Ken from San Juan.

Great stuff. I’m typically not a hair product guy, but saw a youtube review of this and decided to try it out. Hat’s off to Cassie and Brad for having the stuff.

Typically I stay away from hair products because I have a woolly sort of jew-fro (no offense) going on, and I hate gel because of helmet hair. I found this stuff to have a great hold, not too shiny, and my hair felt normal. The stuff last in humid weather so another plus. It’s definitely opened my eyes to water-based pomades.

Really good pomade, will wash out mostly with one wash, great hold, can restyle, just a bit funky to apply, have to get used to that, but worth it. Completely grease free. Very clean feel, and nice herbal scent

This pomade isn’t anything like most water soluble pomades, it’s not a thick gel. It behaves more like a heavy oil based pomade but isn’t greasy. It’s great because you can restyle later in the day because it doesn’t harden up. If you run your fingers through, you don’t lose the strength of the hold. Check out youtube on how to use it, because you want to break it down in your hands for a moment before you apply. And I apply a little at a time. It surprises me how much hold it has compared to oil based. Highly recommended.
