Phenomenal brush

This is my favorite badger traveler by far, and it performs brilliantly at home too. The bloom as mentioned is comparable to a 24mm knot when lathering. Soft face feel, good splay when wanted, and effortless face lathers with a big enough handle to be easily used, and I have larger than average hands and fingers. It will fit into a smaller pill bottle for travel. This and an Omega 40066 are my two travel brushes, and I’ve gone through a lot of options for travelers.

Omega 599 Silvertip is an excellent brush. I am a face latherer and prefer small brushes. This brush creates a nice lather and feels great on the face too. Washes well. The review on bloom to about twice the size is spot on. I recommend this brush as it will stay in my rotation.

I bought this mainly as a travel brush but use it frequently. It is an excellent face lathering brush. It is harder to use with a bowl or mug on account of its diminutive size. This brush would probably work fine even if the knot stayed compact as in the picture; however it blooms to about twice that size after washing and drying and is a perfect size for me. It has shed maybe four hairs in the year that I have had it.
