The most beautiful Parker. With good technique, super !!!
If the technique is sufficiently smooth! I like!

This parker is similar to other parker. This class requires skill. Quality is good at this price !!!
Of course, the technique should be good, he does not forgive.
For such a money and so smooth !!!

This seems to be one of those products that has nothing truly special about it aside from the price. If you are simply looking for a shavette to use on a tight budget to dip your toes in the water this is for you. I have not found and serious issues with it.

I use this only to cut in my beard line and it has been working nice. Easy for me to load a blade in. The handle is a little lightweight but I’m not concerned with that for how little I use it. Great price as well.

In 1987 I bought my first–and only–straight razor. Had I known about the Parker Shavette at the time, I might have been buying razors all these years. In contrast to the other reviewers, I have had no problem loading the half-razor into the shavette. The one I obtained opens easily. The only trick is to the keep the razor still while sandwiching the blade in place. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in straight razor shaving to try it out the shave routine without paying the nearly $200 to get started with straight razor shaving (if you buy everything at a moderate price). A $20 shavette and a box of razors is a no brainer. Frankly, I purchased it because I wanted something to take on trips and I’m leaving my age-old straight at home well away from the TSA. I’m sorry I never tried one before. The blade can’t be any sharper–it’s a razor blade for Jiminy’s sake!

I think for the money, this razor is wonderful. Pair it with the right blade, and you can get a great shave with it and save a lot of time on stropping, maintenance, and such. Not to mention saving money outright over the cost of a normal straight. I bought this after having been wetshaving only 3-4 months (just barely have I really been satisfied and comfortable in producing a good lather for each shave), and so obviously I don’t have a lot of experience with what works for me and what doesn’t. However, I’ve managed to get several great shaves out of the 5 times I’ve used it so far. Of course, with everything YMMV, but I stand behind this product. For $19, it’s a great razor.

It’s a decent shavette for beginners that are on a tight budget, but it’s not the easiest shavette to load a blade in. You have to split the main arm after it’s unfolded to load a DE blade that’s been split in half and sometimes it becomes a bit of a hazzard loading the blade. I agree with the other reviewer on the build quality. The hinges are a little tough to open and close and the steel looks a little rough around the edges where the shavette folds up after use. In my humble opinion, you’re better off ordering a Feather AC shavette which costs nearly the same amount as a real deal straight razor does or buying the Dovo Shavette.

IT is VERY light weight and the build quality isn’t stellar that is for sure. It takes two hands to close to make sure the blade doesn’t hit. Then again for under $20 what does one expect.
