They should just call it Green Magic. Smells amazing and has a different kind of menthol kick that’s hard to describe. I don’t like menthol in general but get excited to use this one on those hot-muggy-nasty days. Not a winter soap for me but for the menth heads out there, this one is toned down enough to use in winter, I suppose.

It’s Proraso, don’t expect magic slickness because it doesn’t roll that way. Add a few drops of glycerin if you want, the aroma and kick are otherworldly IMHO and worthy. I use it right along the great stuff like MWF and Soap Commander and it does it’s own thing stopping short of magic slickness but killing it everywhere else.

Good for the money but not much menthol here. I also think Musgo makes a better lather and is worth the step up in price. This is my least favorite cream of about a dozen I’ve tried so far, but it’s also the cheapest by far. Still, I’d rather pay more and get a slicker, more cushiony lather like I get from Musgo. It’s not bad, but it’s at the very bottom of a long list of good shave creams.

easy shave and lathers like a champ, the only reason i wouldnt buy this again is if i wanted to try the other scents

What can I say that hasnt already been said?! Every shave den should have at least one tube or tub of Proraso. The classic menthol babershop smell… who doesnt love it?! It’s real simple; great lather, slickness and cushion. If you are into wet shaving, you need this in your den.

Pros: Great lather; doesn’t dry out quickly; medium intensity regarding the menthol

Cons: Smells musty/moldy – not pleasant

This product performs wonderfully, but I am having trouble getting past the musty/moldy scent. I’ve read other reviews on other sties that echo similar sentiments. Thankfully, I have the Proraso Green aftershave splash, and that is an amazing scent. I suppose if you can push through the unpleasant scent of this product you can eke out a decent shave.

I’ve gone through at least one (I think two?) tubes of this since my first try. It’s a consistently wonderful shave, and here in the heat of the Arizona desert, the cool tingle it leaves behind is a wonderfully refreshing way to step out into the truly inhospitable climate in which my residence finds itself.

If you haven’t tried it, do it. It’s more than worth the money and performs its job spectacularly.

As a side review, the Maggards’ shipping is incredible. Every time I’ve bought from them, my package arrives in short order.

They shipped my last order of Proraso Green USPS like always — shipped out same-day as my order, arrived today. Brad, Casie, who do you bribe at the USPS to get service like this delivered to your customers?! Fantastic experience as always.

So, I ask you, reader… why are you still reading this? Scroll back up and add to cart.

Just outstanding. Italiano shaving at its best. Goes on creamy, smooth, leave a fresh scent and lathers up great. Old school for sure! Ordering the sampler to try the others, but I’ve used this for years and very satisfied.
    Peace all.

A perfect follow up for the Proraso Green Pre Shave Cream. An almond sized dollop of cream is plenty for a three pass shave. It is easy to lather and is great for a beginner, or as an old standby cream. The menthol is very strong, especially when preceded with their pre shave cream. I find using all three of the Proraso green products (the pre shave, shave cream, and after shave) to be a great combination. It is very eye opening and refreshing in the morning, and is a great way to clear your head!

I am not a morning person at all, however when I wake up groggy in the morning and I am still a zombie after a shower all I need is a kick from this cream and the pre/post shave of the same scent and brand to get going! For one this cream compliments the Proraso Menthol Pre Shave and it adds an extra kick to your face to help you shed the last few morning Z’s in your eyes! It is magical, it feels like rubbing Vicks on your face only it smells amazing and it’s way more pleasant! I highly recommend this cream to anyone that likes the cool warmth of menthol and eucalyptus!

Although I have only been wet shaving for about a month now, Proraso Green has become my favorite cream. It lathers very easily on my face or in a bowl, and has a great menthol soothing feel to it. I can easily get three passes by just dotting each cheek and under my chin, then lathering with my damp brush.
Highly recommended if you like menthol – avoid it if you don’t!

Very nice cream – it has a nice cooling smell/feeling and lathers well. Only a bit of cream is needed for a few passes so the tube should last a while. Definitely recommended!
