Fantastic and beautiful brush. I had soft split tips after one shave with no crazy soaks. Simply lathered my stubbly face and head and dried by stropping on a towel for 5ish minutes. Boom, instantly soft tips. First use, this brush is a bit stiff and has an animal odor, but that’s to be expected with a new boar brush. After drying, the scent disappears. These brushes only get better with use, so I’m looking forward to using the 830 in a month or two. If I could only have one shaving brush, this would be it.

My favorite brush! I have a few different types and brand brushes including badger.

99.9% of the time I reach for this brush. Perfect softness, and backbone for soaps and creams.

After it breaks in it is pure heaven!

Excellent brush! I’ve bought at least 8-10 brushes in the past year, including numerous boar, various grades of badger and synthetic. This is by far my favorite. Perfect backbone and splay. If I had to say one negative thing, it sometimes seems to splay a little too much. Regardless, this is the brush I reach for 90% of the time.

This is a great brush. I like it better than my Semogue Owners Club brush. I’m not going to bore you with subjective descriptions. If you’re only going to have one boar brush, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Con: It takes about 36 hours to dry.

Pro: This is the best under $40 brush you can buy. If you like boar, you will LOVE this one. Soft, yet has some backbone. Right sized. Oh, and almost no piggy odor. A quick shampoo + conditioner and it was good to go. Great buy.

Easily one of my favorite brushes along with the 620. I prefer boar over even my silvertips; this one especially gets the job done for face or bowl lathering, but excels most in face lathering.

Love love love absolutely love this brush!!! The 90% premium tops makes this brush super smooth and once wet it gets crazy soft!. It has great backbone, but it also has much more give than the Omega Pro. That’s not to say it doesn’t have back bone but I feel like if I closed my eyes it does not frel like a boar. It has some scritch, very little but enough. It is perfect for a face lather. The brush blooms like a badger it’s crazy. Semogue is the boar brush of the God’s!!!

Good brush for the price if you want a nice boar.
