10 reviews for Shark Super Chrome Stainless DE Safety Razor Blades, 5 blades

    :

My experience with Shark Super Chrome is that simply put, they are my favorite, they are very smooth and do not irritate my face.

As a veteran wet-shaver, I recommend buying a bulk blade pack and finding which blade works for you, as what blade I find very smooth and sharp will be someone else’s dull and burred blade.

As the saying goes, “your mileage may vary ;)”.

    :

Rating blades is pointless, honestly; there are far too many variables in play, and what works well for one face does poorly on another. I’m giving these 5 stars because after trying half dozen or so brands of blades, these work best for me. That is all.

These blades have confused me a bit, but I think I’ve gotten the hang of them. In a cheap Van der Hagen TTO razor these blades felt like I was shaving with a pine cone. It was so terrible I actually tossed the blade halfway through the first pass of the shave. Second shave was no different. Then I switched to my MR6 with a V3 head and finally gave it a go again. Three blades (three shaves each) and each has been smooth and comfortable. If you have a few laying around try them in various razor heads, my experience changed dramatically from one to the other and now they are becoming one of my favorite blades.

These have very quickly become my favorite DE blades that I have used. I like feathers for their sharpness, but sometimes they can be a bit rough on my neck. Shark blades provide a similar sharpness but much more gently IMO. Give ’em a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

I had read mixed reviews and was hesitant to try – now my go to blade. Another great example of YMMV.

Fantastic. Super Sharp. No surprise this was rated one of the top 10 blades for 2015.

    :

These blades were not sharp enough to cut through my hair. I tried them three different times with a lot of prep to my face. the blades pulled at my hair and caused a lot of irritation on my neck and chin. I threw the remainder of the pack in the trash, won’t attempt to use these again. Other blades from MR are much better, with little to no irritation.

I found these to be a pretty darn good blade. There are probably sharper blades out there, but this one worked fine for me. I found them to be a very comfortable blade, overall. Definitely in the best blade category for me. I recommend trying them.

I did not care for these or the other Shark blades at all. They pulled at my hair quite a bit. I have several Shark blades left over from my sample pack AND my starter kit. Probably won’t try these again.

I got a 5 pack of these, and I like them a lot. There’s a bit of tug for me, but I find it really easy to get a great 3.5 pass shave with less (or none)razor burn than others with a similar amount of tug.
