Better then derby, they cut facial hair and not as much skin. However, I can get at best 2 shaves from them, they are very irritating blades, and actually REQUIRE 3 passes to do the same amount of work as a single pass with say a dorco or a Treet classic can do.

I have tried a few more expensive brands (Feather, Derby, some German blades) but I only use Shark now (and the cheaper one at that). I have a light beard and only get two shaves per edge but that is ok with me for the price.

Good blade overall. Was going to give a “4,” as there are certainly some blades out there that offer a smoother shave and last for more shaves. However, it’s hard to beat the price-to-value ratio with these ones. It was my first blade I ever used. Not my absolute favorite blade, but, in any case, always good to have a few Sharks handy.

Very similar to Derby. Slightly sharper, just as smooth, and similar performance. I could only get two shaves out of Shark, but YMMV. I used these in the MR6 with the V3A head. No nicks or razor burn. I only gave four stars because (1) only two shaves per blade and (2) still requires three passes for a smooth shave. Very good for the price though.

The Shark Super Stainless are a great deal…closeness without shredding your mug! Definitely my go to blade without a doubt. Try ’em you’ll like ’em.

These blades are on par with the derby blades. I enjoy the price and Maggard’ s service is unequivably superior. I might buy these again. Ladies this may not be the blade for you. It works for a shave or two and that’s all.

I’ve been searching for a cheap “go to” blade. So I picked up a pack of these, and a pack of Derby’s to give them a try. Maggard’s has them for a great price. I’ve only used 1 shark blade & I don’t want to jump the gun, but so far I give it 5 stars. The very first blade out of the pack and I’ve gotten 3 really great shaves. No cuts, nicks or tugging through the first 2 shaves. My 3rd shave I had very slight tugging but very minimal and no discomfort at all. Mainly a more audible sound to the shave stroke. All 3 shaves resulted in my smoothest shaves so far. I’ve used Merkur blades and I feel like those blades were 1 or 2 shaves only then it was done. I’ve used Derby half blades in in my shavette & I’ve always liked them but I never got as smooth as I did with these Sharks in my Safety Razor. I’m sure my technique has a lot to do with that too. I’m anxious to use the Derby DE and see if they give similar results compared to these Sharks. I’ve used Feathers before and I really liked them but they are pricey. I’m pleasantly surprised so far with these Sharks, I hope the rest of the experience the first blade has given me.
