Product Description

Vision – Most everyone desires this attribute in their leaders today…and your followers desire that in you. Vision is a combination of both fragrance oils and essential oils that will open your senses and allow you to focus your attention on seeing beyond the here and now and cast a Vision towards the future.

Clean and Crisp, yet suave and composed, this is an excellent men’s fragrance, and adored by women. Reminiscent of kayaking through icy waters, this scent contains notes of citrus, black currant, pineapple, honeydew, muguet, and water lily upon a base of vetiver and mulberry.  We couldn’t leave it alone so we added Peppermint Essential oil to it just to kick it up a notch…A true Soap Commander Favorite!!!

This soap has quickly become my top performer in my small collection of highly regarded artisan soaps. Compared to the other 3 I have, Soap Commander is the slickest and most protective of them all. I was actually quite surprised to find that I consistently get my closests shaves when I use this soap. I think it allows me to make repeated passes over the same area, which I can’t do with other soaps without starting to get some razor burn.

To get great performance you do need to load your brush for longer than with a softer soap. You also need to add a good bit of water and build the lather for a little longer than you might think. If do you these three things you will get a big puffy protective lather that’s slick, thick, and rich. I also bloom this soap for a few minutes (water on top of the soap) to soften it up a bit before loading. That seems to help a lot.

The scent of Vision isn’t exactly what I thought it would be based on the description. I thought it would be an aquatic or oceanic scent with a “hint of mint” on top. It’s more like a mint soap with some undertones that soften it up. It’s not a sharp mint, but more of a “soft mint”. It’s very pleasant. It has enough mint in it to provide a menthol-like cooling effect on your face as well. Not super cold; just cool.

Overall this soap is outstanding. Highly recommended. Now I need to find another scent from Soap Commander to try out!

This Soap is AMAZING!!!! first off, it smells So GOOD as Ryan said, its Cool, Refreshing, and Clean! if you like minty things this is perfect for you. As for performance, I start with a hand lather and then finish the lather on my face. After i barely started in my hand it thickened right up at a level I’ve never seen with any other soap. then i moved to my face and it just blew up into the perfect lather. This soap is very easy to work into a thick, voluminous lather that is slick and allows for great protection in and after the shave. I have been DE shaving now for ten years and i tell you what, I have yet to find a soap or cream that even comes close to rivaling this Soap Commander Vision. This is by far the best shaving soap I’ve ever used.

I really like the light cooling sensation. Soap perfomance is great.

I’ll start by stating that this is not my favorite Soap Commander scent, but it is definitely a good one. I own it and the matching balm. Like all of Darren and Carrie’s products it is top notch. It lathers well, albeit it is somewhat “thirsty”. The lather, as long as you add enough water is spectacular. The menthol is understated and acts as a delicate spice not an overpowering WHACK.

When I say that VISION isn’t my favorite SC product , I’m talking about splitting hairs. I feel they are on a par with soaps brands like PAA, Barrister & Mann and Stirling. One thing is for sure, no shaving company has a better customer support than the Commander. Their company was founded because of a skin problem with one of their children, so their products tend to be better than most for those of us who have sensitive skin.

Great scent, great soap. I prefer ‘fresh’ scents to muskier scents, and this hits it right on the nose. A very crisp, clean smell. Quickly became my every-shave soap.

Fantastic soap. I’m not a huge peppermint fan, but this is done very well. Almost like a cologne type peppermint, if that makes any sense. Packaging is fantastic and performance is great, especially considering it’s a vegan soap.

I will be back for more scents!

Another winner from this week’s addiction-satisfying shipment from Maggard. First thing I noticed was the quality and size of the jar. Nice nice packaging, Probably the nicest jar on any soap I have ever gotten regardless of its price. 8 oz. jar filled 2 oz. shy of the top to make it very easy to load. Next thing I noticed was the cool light blue color…and the scent matches the color. Somewhat aquatic, definitely outdoorsy fresh (in a spring/summer way, not a winter-y forest, coniferous way). And a really pleasant dollop of peppermint to give it some extra fun and character. Performance in every way…lathering, during the shave, post shave was all top notch. Try it. Or some other scent by Soap Commander.

Great refreshing minty scent. To me it’s like a 50/50 mix of mint and cool water. Masculine and refreshing!

Очень приятный аромат! В своей гамме напоминает “Aspen”. Очень удобная банка для набора мыла. Сама пена превосходна. Бритье с этим мылом доставляет удовольствие.

Soap Commander – Vision Shaving Soap (6oz) is an A+ shaving soap and immediately goes into my permanent rotation. Super aroma, lather beyond belief – I could have made 10 passes, easy. Glide is ridiculously good and protection superb. Used a synthetic brush.
