Stirling are one of the most consistant performers in my opinion. They are always spot on with scent, packaging and branding is great. They always provide a great shave too, especially with slickness, it’s a great base. I love that there seems to be no end of scents, and strengths, either, there is something for everyone, this one being even more favoured by my wife than me. They are very hard to beat and everyone needs Stirling soap in their den, it’s a rite of passage.

I’m not sure why michael expected this to smell like cherry blossoms, as this is no where in the description. Nor does it smell like a cough drop. He very much sells this fragrance short. Plain and simple, it is a strong black cherry scent that does not smell candyish. One of my favorites! Everyone in the house loves the bathroom after I use this!

I really love this soap. Typical fantastic Stirling performance, and a really strong, in your face (in a good way) cherry scent. Reminds me of going to K-Mart as a kid with my mom and dad and getting a cherry Icee. To my nose it is the exact scent. Not overly sweet, but more tart. Love it.

First off, Sterling makes good quality soaps. My “3 Star” rating is more for scent, not overall quality. That said, Black Cherry has a powerful aroma. Instead of smelling like fresh cherry blossoms, the scent is actually very synthetic. It’s totally reminiscent of a cherry cough drop (without the menthol). In my opinion, the smell is far better suited for women. In fact, my wife is actually using the rest of the soap.
