Smells like a bonfire. Excellent soap from Stirling!

This scent is so strong. I love it. It smells exactly like a forest on the edge of a prairie is ablaze a few dozen yards from you. Pine, ember, smoke, cedar, smoldering vegetation. The performance is exactly what you would expect from Stirling. Slick, smooth, and cushioning. Excellent product.

Hands down my favorite Stirling and in my top 5 of all soaps. Campfire in West Coast Shaving is a fair substitute and Tallow and Steel's Morocco is very close. This is a fantastic scent if you enjoy bold smells. Me, personally...I'm eclectic. I'll enjoy the subtle scent of a DR Harris Arlington or a Mitchell's Wool Fat thru Col. Conk and Proraso blue up to very intense fragrances like the Ogalla's, Cryogen and this one. (not that I like every scent of course.) Stirling soaps are already a great shaving experience even in slightly hard water You do need a bit of extra water to make them lather in my opinion.

Stirling makes great soaps, but this one is very woody. Just not my scent.

Oh yeah. It really does have the scent of a camp/forest fire. I used to have to spend all night around the fire ring to smell like this. Hah. Not for you if you prefer girly florals. Be a man. Eat meat. Smell like Fire!
