The smell is very nice. Seems to be some disagreement in the reviewers if it is attractive to younger men. The scent is definitely more on the traditional side…I’m early 30s and I enjoy it. It is very drying though, my skin definitely feels the alcohol. I don’t mean in a painful sensation, just that is saps the moisture from my skin and feels very dry. Smell lingers quite a while in a pleasant way. If it was not so drying I would use this regularly.

Does not smell like Mr. Taylor shave cream, or aftershave balm. If you want the Mr. Taylor smell in an aftershave, Truefitt and Hill Grafton is a perfect match. This aftershave, to me, has more of a spice and citrus smell to it. Not a bad scent, but not what I was expecting.

I purchased this aftershave because of the other review stating that it would be great for younger people. I am 25 and can honestly say that this splash smells terrible. There are definitely many AS splashes that aren’t my style, but I can still appreciate for people of different age groups or with different preferences in scents. This is not one of them. I cannot imagine anyone wearing this. It smells like a failed concoction of scents and somewhat resembles some industrial cleaning supplies. I don’t mean to be harsh, but for the near $30 price point, one could definitely choose a better aftershave. I have another TOBS AS splash that I really enjoy though (Victorian lime).
