Product Description

The 1949 Suburban was part of the advanced design series; bigger, stronger, and sleeker than the pre-WWII models.  First launched in 1935 these work beasts have been in continuous productions ever since.  Ours is the Rat Rod version, stripped of its paint, a little dirty, and in a brushed gold finish.
The soaps start with Kentucky bourbon, condensed and added to coconut, tallow, palm, and Abyssinian oil to create mountains of yogurt-like thick, slick lather.  We add an Arabian sandalwood scent to the base which is woody, mellow and smooth with just a touch of sweet coconut and vanilla and pairs exceptionally well with the smoky bourbon.  Add our matching aftershave, and you will experience the rugged, flat out power of the ’49 ‘Burban.
Formerly known as “Angel’s Share”

Great scented soap, but a little singular. I, at least, really only get the vanilla, and a touch of carmel. The biggest disappointment is, I don’t think the new Angel Shares have Bourbon in them. There is absolutely no bourbon listed in the ingredients like there is in the picture. That’s the main reason I bought the dang soap, but all in all it smells amazing.

The Angels Share is my favorite of the TTFFC offerings. A very unique scent, I get a bit of chocolate, maybe the bourbon whiskey. I usually do not like chocolate scents, but this one is different. Reminds me a bit of “blue man” scent that a lot of M&P soap makers use, but with other scents added to it. This is a good thing because I love the scent of “blue man” and Angels Share is even better and more complex.

The performance has not disappointed me at all, nice slick lather. The consistency is a bit soft, almost a hard cream, so it could be scooped out and bowl lathered, or lathered on top of the soap. Great product and locally made in Michigan.
