I had no idea what vetiver smelled like… and at first I did not care for it.
Luckily this soaps scent is not the strongest. After doing a couple lathers and a shaves with it, the scent grew on me I must say.
When you lather it up, it smells like orange peals with a grassy note to it. a hint of a honeydew or melon. Not bad.
I tend to enjoy tallow soaps…
The lather has very tight sud formation. The lather will glow and shine when moist. It is so stretchy and peaky, its like mozzarella cheese. The lather stands like a centimeter off your face while painting it on. Just amazing… the only knock I can give it is, this particular soap tends to dry out a bit fast, however the lather suds dont disappear quickly.

I’ve used the South Simcoe Sandalwood and like it a lot. It lathers well with good cushioning and slickness. In fact I’ve already gotten a second for when the first runs out. The scent is very mild but I’ve used an Indian Mysore Sandalwood oil as a regular scent for myself, for 48 years, now,so this may seem very mild, by comparison. Anyway, I like it a lot and tend to like tallow soaps. I’d like to try some others.
